3. Training: Gehäuse für Arduino  / 3rd training: Arduino housing


This time I wanted to create my own housing for an Arduino Mega. The challenges have been:

  • Again both parts had to match precisely.
  • Both parts schould fit together with cants to give a better weather resistance.
  • The bottom should be open on one side to give access to the USB port and power without dismounting the Arduino.

Ich habe den Deckel verändert. Nun gibt es 3 Reihen mit jeweils 4 Schlitzen, in die 5 Jumperkabel passen. Hier werden Kupplungen verbaut werden. Diese werden dann mit Heisskleber fixiert. Mit ihm werden auch die Schlitze verschlossen werden, die nicht gebraucht werden.

I’ve changed the top part. It has now 3 rows of 4 slits, in which 5 jumper cables will fit. Here female ones will be used. They will be fixed with hot glue. The slits not used will also be closed by hot glue.
